Nestled in the heart of Bothell, WA, Grazie Ristorante Italiano serves as a delightful haven for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance sets the tone for a truly comforting dining experience, where rustic charm blends effortlessly with attentive service.
The menu bursts with classic Italian flavors, showcasing an array of dishes that both honor tradition and excite the palate. A standout is the Tortellini Gorgonzola, praised by locals like Adam Bennett as “one of the best pasta dishes” they've ever tasted, where perfectly cooked tortellini bathed in a rich and creamy gorgonzola pesto sauce creates an irresistible harmony of tangy and savory notes. For seafood lovers, the Seafood Bisque offers a velvety, aromatic start, while the Apple Wood Oven Halibut provides a beautifully smoked entree that’s light yet deeply satisfying.
Pizza enthusiasts will find much to love, from the hearty Ama Carne Meatballs pizza loaded with spicy sausage, pepperoni, and a blend of mozzarella and parmesan, to the somewhat lighter Arugula pizza topped with prosciutto ham and a balsamic drizzle that adds an elegant finish. Those seeking comfort will appreciate the house specialties like the Fettuccine Alfredo—a creamy classic with just the right touch of garlic and parmesan—and the more robust Rigatoni Corleone, teeming with spicy sausage and peppers in a vibrant tomato sauce.
Appetizers set the tone delightfully. From the crisp Ravioli Fritti to the zesty Crab Dip and the impressively jumbo-sized Coconut Prawns (a noted favorite, praised for their perfect crunch and generous portion), each bite bursts with fresh, layered flavors.
Don’t miss the desserts — the Tiramisu Cake is a luscious finale, but the Chocolate Molten Lava Cake truly captivates, oozing rich, velvety chocolate that melts in your mouth. The subtle sweetness of the Cannoli and the refreshing zing of lemon drops further round out the experience with finesse.
While many guests rave about the culinary masterpieces here, it’s worth noting that some diners have observed occasional inconsistencies, such as the quality of the bread or the seasoning balance in certain pasta dishes. However, heartfelt testimonials—like Anthony Fossen’s celebratory anniversary visit and Kevin’s perfect execution of beef tenderloin medallions—speak to the restaurant’s commitment to delivering memorable moments and flavors that keep patrons returning.
For those seeking a genuine Italian dining experience with a varied menu brimming with well-crafted dishes and an inviting atmosphere, Grazie Ristorante Italiano stands out as a compelling choice in Bothell's vibrant culinary scene. Whether you’re craving classic comfort food or an adventurous bite, the flavors here are sure to linger long after the meal ends.
Wonderful classic Italian food restaurant in Bothell. I got the gorgonzola pesto tortellini and it's one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Will definitely be back. Note: 20% gratuity is automatically included in the bill.
Great place. The pasta was delicious, but the pizza was just okay — dough, three slices of prosciutto and about 10 grams of arugula,Parmesan. The shrimp were fine, and the bread tasted like it was from Walmart. Usually, in good restaurants, you get nice freshly baked rolls or bread. We came in when there were only a few tables occupied, but for some reason, they seated us near the bar area, so we ended up being served by the bartender’s waitress. The bar was completely full, so she didn’t really have time to serve both the bar guests and us. Strange. At the same time the main dining area, three waiters were just walking around, serving only three tables.
They never ever disappoint us! My wife and I went for our 20th wedding anniversary last week. It’s always been a fantastic experience.
Great appetizers, we loved the beet salad and the garlic bread with roasted red pepper sauce. The entrees were very underwhelming and the fettuccine Alfredo lacked salt/umami. Tortellini was okay, but a letdown from the appetizers. Dessert was a strawberry Marsala (we’re vegetarians but don’t eat eggs so that was the only option) - it was quite refreshing and something we hadn’t tried before. Overall, decent food, service, and ambiance, slightly on the expensive side.
I kicked off my meal with the coconut shrimp, which were impressively jumbo-sized and nicely crisped. The flavor was good, though the sheer size made them feel more like a main than a starter. For the entrée, I went with the beef tenderloin medallions, served rare as requested, and the cook nailed it, tTender and juicy. The mashed potatoes were smooth and comforting, but the accompanying balsamic cream sauce missed the mark. It lacked the tangy depth you’d expect from balsamic and didn’t quite complement the beef. Service was attentive and the ambiance inviting, making it a pleasant dining experience overall.
My wife and I went to Grazie Ristorante Italiano for the first time for dinner on a Thursday night and had a great time. When we arrived the parking lot was pretty full, but there was no wait to be seated. The staff was very friendly, from the greeter to the wait staff. We got a nice quiet booth in the back and set out to peruse the menu. We took a while deciding but our server was not at all pushy and helpfully explained a few of the dishes. Our server was excellent. We settled on Bruschetta for the appetizer, and I chose the veal piccata while my wife had the halibut piccata. We chose to split a tiramisu for dessert. All of the food was excellent, the risotto was just the right combination of creamy and sticky and the picatta sauce was tangy and savory with plenty of capers. The veal was a little bit dry but not bad, but the halibut was perfectly flaky and delicious. The artichoke hearts in both the picattas were tender and delicious. The bruschetta was really nice and came with a kalmata olive tapenade, herbed ricotta and marinated tomatoes. The serving was generous. Lastly the tiramisu was great, like a sweet cloud. My wife dove into it before I snapped the pic, I promise it was a perfect square when they delivered it :) Probably the only negative we experienced was the kitchen was a little bit slow this evening. We'll see how it goes the next time before I ding them on a rating because the rest of the service was so good. When we got up to leave, every person on staff thanked us on the way out even the busboy carrying a huge tray of dishes. Very friendly establishment.
